Who we are

We are Betra Limited, and we are the controller of the personal information described here. We’re registered in England, company number 12524193, and our registered office is 20–22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU.

What we collect and why

When you book a consultation. Our booking page asks for your name and email address, and you can tell us what you’d like to discuss. We use this to arrange the consultation, send you the calendar invitation, hold the consultation and follow up on it. We rely on this being a step you’ve asked us to take before possibly working together, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

When you write to us. We keep your email address and message so we can reply. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.

When you visit this website. Our hosting provider may record standard technical details, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, in server logs. These are used only to keep the site secure and working, which is our legitimate interest.

We don’t add you to marketing lists, we don’t sell or share your information for advertising, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

Analytics

If you agree, we use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this website: which pages are visited, which sites or searches brought people here, and what kind of device and browser they use. It helps us improve the site.

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last up to two years. It stays switched off unless you choose “Allow analytics”, and we have turned off Google’s advertising features.

We rely on your consent. You can change your mind at any time with “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of any page; choosing “No thanks” switches analytics off and removes its cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a “no”.

To avoid asking you on every visit, we remember your answer in your browser’s storage. That stores only your choice, nothing else.

Who else handles it

• Google provides our booking page and calendar, and Google Analytics if you allow it. The booking page is on Google’s website, so when you use it Google handles your details under its own terms and privacy policy, including any cookies it uses there.
• Our hosting provider stores this website and its server logs.
• Professional advisers or authorities, only where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

Transfers outside the UK

Google may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Google’s privacy policy describes the legal safeguards it uses for these transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep booking details and correspondence for 12 months after our last contact with you. If you become a client, we keep what we need for as long as we work together, and afterwards for as long as the law requires. Server logs are kept for the period set by our hosting provider. Google keeps analytics data for 2 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you;
• correct anything that’s wrong;
• delete your information;
• restrict or stop using it, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
• give it to you in a format you can pass to someone else.

Write to privacy@betra.co. We’ll reply within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. If you live in the EU, you can also contact the data protection authority in your country. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
